Privacy & Cookie Policy

We take data protection seriously. We process personal data and have therefore developed this Privacy and Cookie Policy to inform you about how your personal data is processed.

Junior Consult acts as a data processor for the data we collect about you, and we ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with the law.

If you would like to learn more about how we process personal data, please feel free to contact us at: info@junior-consult.dk or at +45 8618 0266.

Processing of Personal Data

Personal data refers to any type of information that can be linked to you to some extent. When you use our website, we collect and process a range of such information. This occurs, for example, when you access content, contact us via our contact form, or submit an application through our application form.

We typically collect and process the following types of information: a unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet, or mobile phone; your IP address; your geographic location; and the pages you click on. To the extent that you enter information yourself when submitting an inquiry via our contact form, we also process your name and email address. To the extent that you enter information yourself when applying via our application form, we also process your name, gender, date of birth, address, ZIP code, city, email address, phone number, and field of study. In addition, we process personal data in various formats depending on what you choose to attach to your application (personal data in the application, resume, transcript, etc.).

Recruitment Policy

When we receive an application and relevant attachments (such as a resume, transcript, etc.), the materials will be accessible exclusively to the current members of Junior Consult’s executive board. The personal data contained in the application form and attachments will thus be viewed exclusively by these individuals and will not be shared with other employees of the association or parties outside the association.

Personal data from the application form and attachments is retained until the relevant recruitment process is complete—after which it is deleted immediately. Junior Consult generally has application deadlines in September and February, and applicants can be assured that their personal data will be used solely for the specified purpose, i.e., the specific recruitment process. Personal data from the application form and attachments will therefore not be disclosed to third parties or used for other purposes in the association’s interests.

Safety

We have implemented technical and organizational measures to prevent your information from being accidentally or unlawfully deleted, disclosed, lost, corrupted, or made available to unauthorized parties, misused, or otherwise processed in violation of the law.

Purpose

The information is used to identify you as a user and to optimize our services and content. In addition, the information is used to provide the services you have requested. These services may result from an inquiry submitted via the contact form or from an application submitted via the application form. For this purpose, we reserve the right to contact you via email or phone after you have contacted us, if we deem it necessary.

Storage Method

The information is retained for the period permitted by law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary. The retention period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for retaining it. It is therefore not possible to specify a general timeframe for when information will be deleted. With regard to personal data resulting from contact via the contact form, data will be retained if deemed necessary in order to respond to you at a later date. With regard to personal data resulting from contact via the application form, please refer to the section above regarding our recruitment policy.

Disclosure of Data

Data regarding your use of the website, geographic location, etc., is shared with third parties to the extent that this information is known. You can see which third parties are involved in the ”Use of Cookies” section below. These third parties process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

Personal data collected through the contact form and application form will not be disclosed to third parties unless you give your consent. As a general rule, Junior Consult collects personal data solely for internal purposes and therefore has no intention of sharing personal data externally through a third party. You can therefore be assured that your personal data will be processed exclusively by relevant employees of Junior Consult.

If we deem it necessary to disclose personal data to a third party, we will obtain your consent first. Furthermore, we only use data processors in the EU and in countries that can protect data.
